The Hellenic University Club of New York is a cultural and educational organization whose members are college graduates of Hellenic heritage representing a wide range of professions.
The Hellenic University Club was founded in 1918 by a group of university graduates of Greek descent, under the leadership of Dr. George N. Papanicolaou.
The aims of the Club, as established by the founders, are to create a stimulating venue for members to Socialize and Exchange Ideas, and to one day create a Hellenic Cultural Center. Over the years our mission has expanded to award scholarships to deserving students of Greek descent.
The organization has Social and Cultural Events for all age groups within the Hellenic American Community, these include but are not limited to Socials/Dances, gatherings, Theatre Parties (including Plays, Musicals, Opera, Ballet, Concerts, etc.), Ski Trips, Museum Trips, Lecture Programs & Forums.
